The Institute for Jewish Studies in Heidelberg will host a one-day conference on January 26, 2014 entitled “Appropriated Art - The Gurlitt Case.” The Gurlitt find will be put into a historical and legal perspective by academics, journalists, and researchers. Nicholas O’Donnell will present on the efficacy, challenges, and policy considerations in U.S. art restitution litigation.
